Our intelligence "system" is not repairable. It will always fail spectacularly. These failures go way back: Germany invades Czechoslovakia, Russia, France, Pearl Harbor, Korean war, USSR invades Hungary, Afghanistan, fall of Shah, fall of Berlin Wall, collapse of USSR, Iraq invades Kuwait, WMD (Brits and Frogs too) USS Cole, 9/11 ...
None of the all-too-many reforms have ever worked. It is always the same problems over and over again since at least Pearl Harbor. No one ever connects the dots. No one ever shares data. We are always being surprised. We always will. There will be many more 9/11s.
It worked before it failed. Or something to that extent. Or maybe Napolitano is an asshat.
Napolitano should be bounced out with no ceremony.
