I remember it well. Luxury cruise with The Grey Funnel Line -now a history piece unless you class the undermanned whaler Cornwall - with journalistic hype over Mitch and the Tartan Army. No mention of the Black Watch and 45 Commando. Great run ashore and a wonderful stroll from Dhala to the beach, with Mike H... and Geordie G...going head to head on the highest sniper hits. The local police were murdering and attempting to murder 'our boys' - we, us, I, me, -then as today. Wonderful how we've learned nothing in th past 42 years. HAPPY NEW YEAR
