Rented this the other night. Thought Merryl Streep was excellent as Julia Child. The girl who played Julia was "ok". However the guy who played Julie's (the young girl's husband) grossed me out throughout the movie. He ate like he was starving half the time and since it was a cooking movie he was eating in almost every scene. I don't need to see this neanderthal character sucking sauce of his whole finger in every scene. I'm sure they wanted to make him look like the bronx counterpart to Juilia's refined husband, but it was freaking disgusting to watch this boob.
