Ides of September.............from Rico

September is historically the worst-performing month for stocks. Hindenberg Omen or not, it's a tough month for investers and traders.

This year we have the full-on Obamanation Factor to contend with as well.

Beware the "Ides of September."

Yeah, but an average drop of 1% over a month is not a big deal. The market often drops more than that in just one day. Buy after a 1% drop, or sell after a 1% gain, and you've nullified the September effect.
