Guess who won the Urban Shield Training competition in the USA?

Twenty-nine teams took part. Besides Oakland, the Bay Area agencies, teams from Jordan, Israel, Bahrain, and SWAT teams from the San Francisco Police Department and San Francisco FBI office participated.

I wish I could take pride in this. Second place to the Israelis on something like this is like being almost as tall as Wilt Chamberlin.

Unfortunately, I know what SWAT teams are used for here in the U.S., and I know they're not as careful in picking their targets as they are in executing their raids.

I'll be proud of these guys when they're taking down killers and kidnappers in the right homes.
