Kings Of War
While Great Britain is reeling and dealing with the feeling that only electile dysfunction can impart -- King's College London Department of War Studies strikes the world wack web with the essential "Kings Of War" site.
Fully crunk with timely analysis, hot! gossip and deadly deets from deadly cats who plot and make dang sure our enemies die in all kinds of nasty ways -- hitting up Kings Of War on a regular basis and adding them to your website roll can actually make your brain more bigger!

Government-sponsored debt slavery............from Rico
While no one was looking, another government take-over has happened. Another 'stealth' consolidation of power.
Non-governmental [read: private] sources of mortgage funding have dried up. At close of 1Q2010 the USG was 96.5% of the mortgage market!
Add to this the 9 years of housing inventory on the market and 7 million homes 30+ days late on their mortgage payments.
And some still HOPE the housing market will return to normal.
- Step away from the crack pipe.
Hey, with Uncle Sam as your landlord/mortgage-holder, what could possibly go wrong?
Remember the song by Tennessee Ernie Ford about 'owing your soul' to the Company Store? The lines went something like "You load 16tons, and what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt."
- The point is, when your home is no longer YOUR castle but your Government's property, you become a peasant. A serf.
Welcome to debt slavery, comrades.

A little poem for you...........
Another year has passed
and we're all a little older.
Last summer felt hotter
and winter seems much colder.
There was a time not long ago
when life was quite a blast.
Now I fully understand
about 'Living in the Past'
We used to go to weddings,
football games and lunches.
Now we go to funeral homes,
and after-funeral brunches.
We used to have hangovers,
from parties that were gay.
Now we suffer body aches?
and wile the night away.
We used to go out dining,
and couldn't get our fill.
Now we ask for doggie bags,?
come home and take a pill.
We used to often travel
to places near and far.
Now we get sore asses
from riding in the car.
We used to go to nightclubs
and drink a little booze.
Now we stay home at night
and watch the evening news..
That, my friend is how life is,
and now my tale is told.
So, enjoy each day and live it up...
before you're too damned old!

Palestinian Sympathy Fatigue (Part LXIX)
Oh! It's true mein schatz! The on again, off again 'Forever Quest" for something something 'Palestine' may fire up again before the obligitory hiatus fires up again.
"With dueling authorities running Gaza and the West Bank, the Palestinian people find themselves in the middle of an experiment:
In the Strip, where HAMAS is in charge, the high price of armed resistance to Little Satan has discredited any attempts to revive the conflict. In the West Bank, under Fatah rule, negotiations have gone nowhere...
