Censorship?

Hello,

Google AdSense ad serving has been disabled to your site

During a recent review of your account we found that you are currently
displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our program
policies

http://www.theospark.net/2008/02/bedtime-burka.html

Please note that this URL is an example and that the same violations may
exist on other pages of this website or other sites in your network.

Editors Note: Never heard so much bull in my life. Exactly what is wrong with the pic and why has it taken 3 1/2 years to notice.

I will have to delete it tomorrow because I need the revenue to pay my rent.

Update: I have removed the post. Hopefully they will reinstall the ads.

This should be huge. This needs massive publicity. If government did this then in America a lawyer would destroy this under the 1st Amendment, in the UK I am not sure what protections you'd have. Google is a private business. This means the political prejudices of some clerk in California, possibly hired under some Diversity or other political feel good criteria, can be imposed on everyone. The market should protect us and punish Google for this but their size makes that hard to see happening.

Is there a lawyer in the house who can see if Theo has any rights?

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

Censorship is an action taken by a government. Contract compliance monitoring and enforcement are actions taken by private actors.

When a government directly aids and leaves a major monopoly unchecked its actions like this are is effectively censorship.

The Islamists and their leftist lapdogs are highly organized in flooding providers with TOS complaints.

unfortunately, i can't really see the post since it's been removed. Is it archived anywhere? At any rate, you should post a big sign on your blog that says "FUCK GOOGLE!!!" and see if it takes them another 3 1/2 years to notice. ;)
