Nothing against Giffords personally. But. If the member of Congress who had been shot and lived was a Republican and the prominent federal judge shot and killed had been appointed to the bench by a Democrat all we'd ever hear would be news about the judge and afterthoughts about the Representative. We don't even hear afterthoughts about Judge Roll. All we hear is silence.
