These are the actual gas prices at the pumps in the NYC area today. This has not been photoshopped.
- They're over five bucks right now.
My best guess for future gas prices at the pump are forwarded alongside today's numbers (well, this morning's numbers anyway).
- Given the sudden rise lately, it could be something else by COB.

These are prices per litre for 'gas' and diesel in my village in Norfolk which translates to approx $9.95 a gallon.

3.78 liters per US gallon or 4.5 liters per Imperial gallon...are those prices in British pounds or euros? If in American dollars, then this is more like $5 - $6 per gallon.

Apples to oranges. And I'm not talking gallons (US) to liters. Strip away the taxes collected at both sites and then make a comparison.
In the USA you are paying about 100% tax, in the UK we are paying 300% tax, the cost of the petrol without the tax is the same.
