Tragic Comedy.................from Rico

About that completely PHONY Non Farm Payroll (NFP) report from yesterday that the Ministry of Truth is cheering and waving pom poms about...

John Williams at SGS (who calculates the 'old' way before Government jiggered the formula and started 'cooking' the books) concludes that U6 is NOT what the BLS just reported as 8.3%, but rather 15.1%, and when you include workers who want to work but were 'removed' by accounting artifice from the BLS numbers UNEMPLOYMENT IS 22.5%!
- Look at the huge spike of people considered as NOT in the labor force. [chart 1]

They really should consider just renaming BLS to BS. Looking at the actual survey numbers charted (the red line) and comparing them to the fake numbers (the blue line), you can clearly see that in the "Alice in Wonderland" world of Government numbers a real loss of 2.7 million jobs has become a gain of 243,000 jobs. [charts 2 & 3]
- "Did you hear? They are increasing our choco rations! Double plus good, eh?" ["1984" the movie, watch the version starring Richard Burton and John Hurt]

And, as a back-check to the above, tax receipts are clearly down, not up, reflecting the true state of things. [chart 4]

Once again, (a) if you look good you ARE good, and (b) just saying it is so MAKES it so.
- Down is up, bad is good, and getting worse is getting better.

What tragic comedy!
