American kids leave home, put on an American uniform, are transported to distant lands, where many of them die. Why? To protect our liberty. Evidence of our gratitude in the media? (Crickets)
A pampered singer drugs herself to death (my assumption). The media froths with excitement, broadcasting every last detail of a life gone bad.
