In the context of using access to debt to live far beyond their means and live the illusion of prosperity, one of three Americans today has NO net worth and NO savings.
- Not a penny to their name, and many are hopelessly in debt into the bargain.
Most will rely upon Social Security to be their primary income during retirement, and many seem to think they will be sipping margarita's on a tropical beach in their retirement.
- Nope. I do not think so. Nice fantasy. Bad plan.
The 'new' American retirement is NO retirement.
