There's More to Ireland Than Getting Drunk & Puking...............from Dan Friedman

[If your image of Ireland is cheerful red-nosed sots falling down in quaint cobblestone streets while throwing up all over their knitted green sweaters, then you’re succumbing to a romantic stereotype that is far from reality. Citizens of the Emerald Isle have a lot more going for them than that. This report on Ireland from Israel’s Ynetnews.com (with links to other related stories) will show you a charming facet of the Irish rarely talked about in travel brochures. df]

Like Sweden and Switzerland, Ireland has never sacrificed to defend the West.
Not during WWI.
Not during WWII.
Not during the Cold War.
For that reason, I don't consider Ireland to be a part of the West.

As an American/Christian supporter of Israel and frequent visitor to Ireland I concur with Mr Myers, who I occasionally correspond with.

Over the past 20 years I've seen the rabid flames of the hatred of Israel fuelled by the Irish political party: Sinn Fein (The I.R.A.'s political wing).

There are now some where between 35,000 & 50,000 Muslims in Ireland. Quite a few are known terrorists and some are wanted by the C.I.A. but the Irish government bows to the Liberal/Socialist Palestinian supporters and allows and even encourages the overt hatred of Israel and the overt support of Hamas and Hezbollah.

Ireland is a nation where the culture is ruled by bullying and brow-beating.
