Conspiracy theorists see the US governments HAARP program as a way to wage war through weather or by creating earthquakes. 


The actual stated purpose of HAARP is much more benign.

Ah. The History Channel. Purveyors of fine hoo-ha the world around. I have trouble taking seriously anyone who features wild-eyed accounts of UFOs and encounters with Sasquatch.

You may overlook an alternative purpose for the HARP system..

Consider the geography and then the possibilty that all that EM energy going upward might scramble the workings of Chinese ICBMs incoming to the US.
