Insanity! My "Main Street" thoughts and opinions about the EU Summit and global markets going forward!...from Mike Haltman at TPC



In a world of optimists, pessimists, pragmatists and realists I am definitely a combination the latter two. 

That said, after the 19th EU Summit came to an end on Friday I was surprised to see the enthusiastic response from the financial markets for what appeared to be little new provided in the Summit Statement. 

Was the markets euphoria new money buying bonds and stocks as an investment or was it merely a relief rally amid short covering? If as I suspect it was massive short covering, how do you suppose I see this whole crisis playing out? 

Ending well or ending poorly and would I be buying stocks here or shorting them?
