After an outcry from Combat Soldiers, the new DWM (Distinguished Warfare Medal) for drone pilots may NOT actually bear the "V" device for valor, although it would still fall above the Bronze Star in precedence.
The Pentagon is considering several other devices as alternatives. Some proposed devices include:
- Hemorroid Donut
- Spilled Coffee on Crotch
- Bandaid for Papercut
- PacMan
- Flight Suit looks cool in Mirror
