They don't duck. They fight out in the open without covering protection. They're idiots basically. And they're rewarded with "72 raisins" for their efforts, according to BCF.

The Syrian Army snipers are very good.
I believe they use the Soviet Dragunov sniper rifle. It was developed in the 1950's but is very accurate.
Given the opposition, a Kentucky rifle could be adequate.
