[Allegations that Netanyahu is Obama's cats-paw and a mega-sellout who is following in the path of Ariel Sharon come as a surprise to many of Israel's friends (and some of my readers) in the USA. By attempting to paint Israelis’ misgivings as hysterical and "right-wing," this piece written by a seasoned Israeli journalist (i.e., left-leaning) is meant to delegitimize the deep suspicions many in the Jewish state feel about Netanyahu's "peace" plans. But ironically, if you filter out the writer's pervasive leftward bias then his story only supports the widespread belief in Israel that Netanyahu can't be trusted. It is, after all, based on Bibi’s long track record. df]
