- Another time we'll discuss the 'old' Silver Certificate Dollars that were redeemable for 1oz of Silver, and compare them to the current FRN's (Federal Reserve Notes) that aren't redeemable for anything...sure a good thing they are backed by the full faith and credit of the government, huh?
