This is a map of the US reflecting where the majority of pet owners (or "serving staff" as a cat would phrase it) are either dog owners or cat owners.
It explains a lot.
- That economic fraud Krugman is owned by a cat, for example. The NYT just loves to print his Keynesian drivel. Meee-owww!
The next time I read an article about how cats carry a parasite that makes their owners mentally unstable, I'll think of this map.
- Then I'll think "cats, the other white meat."
