Wealth Confiscati​on..................from Rico

Note: There is a now 'obscure' novel by Sinclair Lewis called "It Can't Happen Here" that is worth reading for many reasons, and on many levels.

- Consider this one...wealth confiscation by spendthrift and broke governments.


There is a definite 'pattern' you need to be aware of:

- A government gets into serious financial trouble. [read: broke, insolvent]

- They deny there is ANY problem whatsoever, and tell their citizens not to worry...everything is just fine.

- Said government then conducts a 'surprise' wealth grab from its citizens.


It happened in Cyprus and Spain when bank deposits were looted; retirement savings have been confiscated in Poland,Portugal, and Hungary; capital controls have been imposed in Iceland (just by way of example).

- Of course, these examples are 'just' in Europe, and 'just' recently, but....they can and will happen anywhere at anytime.

This is coming to a neighborhood near you.............
