Whack-A-Mole Is Not a Strategy

President Obama took time out from addressing golf balls this week to address the issue of ISIS in Iraq to the American Legion Convention in Charlotte, NC, and his less-than-inspiring speech was met with less than rousing enthusiasm from the crowd of veterans. In his remarks the President told a number of bald-faced lies that I am sure every veteran in the room recognized, and judging from the looks on their faces most of them were not amused. Veterans generally take our national security very seriously, and they also recognize failed leadership when they see it.        (continue reading)
