President Obama signed the 2015
Defense Authorization Bill into law on Friday. Contained in that bill were
provisions which are intended to prevent the President from transferring Gitmo
detainees from the facility in Cuba to prisons on American soil. Similar
provisions were included in the $1.1 trillion spending bill he signed earlier
in the week. Although he did sign the bill, President Obama was clearly not
happy with those provisions. (continue reading)
