Many Conservatives such as I have
long been convinced that our beloved country is headed straight to Hell in hand
basket, and we are trying as hard as we can to turn that around. That effort is
frustrating however, because as obvious as it seems to us most of America is
blithely unaware and never become concerned unless something interferes with their
favorite television program. When we see direct attacks on the freedoms and see
them being eroded away, it makes our heads explode when those around us are
lamenting the end of Two and a Half Men.
Far too many people simply have no concept of the sacrifices it took to win our
freedom, and what it takes to maintain it. A recent Rasmussen Report highlights
that disturbing fact in a way that makes me worry that this generation will be
the one that sells us all into slavery to tyranny. (continue reading)
