What needs to happen in the Trump camp is to treat the Left’s slanders as nonsense and stop giving the progressives’ sick allegations credibility by taking them seriously.
This is a mistake a lot of politicians make. Cruz in particular, might have won the nomination if he hadn’t felt the need to repudiate every whacked-out charge Trump leveled at him. Getting drawn into a fight with every jerk who says he saw you spit on the sidewalk in 1998 only stokes the fire and never puts it out.
