The communists and fascists hate each other because they are rivals. They both want to be in control of the economy. Fascism, National Socialism, favors the nation first, and allows some private property, but the goal is government control of the economy. Communism favors international socialism and has no private property, but the goal is government control of the economy.
The New York Yankees and the New York Rangers are not rivals. But the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are!
