The Florida legislature has passed the "Sunshine Protection Act" [read: no more of this "Spring ahead, Fall back" idiocy] which will leave the 'time' alone...keeping it at the current DST setting all year long.
- Gee, what a novel idea.
Who knows what kind of mushrooms Congress was ingesting when they passed the "Uniform Time Act of 1966" [read: Daylight Savings Time] but it is a great example of why the country would be better off if Congresscritters stayed home instead of doing really stupid stuff.
FL joins HI and AZ in opting-out of this 'time' foolishness.
