Before Cars became Appliances ..............from Rico

 Yes 1961 was a very good year (h/t Terje), but almost any year before 1969 for cars was.

- My first car was a 1957 Pontiac.

 

There's not much automotive worthy of note from the 70's onward although there were other positive aspects from the time...but I digress, my focus here is on the era before cars became appliances.

- In short: When cars had everything a driver wanted...and nothing one neither wanted nor asked for.
