This is in no way good!
Never mind that it is largely the result of the Dollar approaching worthless, prices of modern cars are stupid! This is also a sea change from taking a car for a drive, and being taken for a ride by the carmakers.
- The average price of a new car is now $50,000.
- Almost 20% of new car buyers are saddled with a $1,000 monthly car payment.
And for what?
- For a car that 'nags' you, spys on you (and rats you out to third parties), and actively "assists" you whether you want it to or not.
NOPE.
My dream car has NO electronics (except for an analog radio) and I enjoy driving it as much as I enjoy NOT being 'taken for a ride.'
