I remember cars before 'electronics' and bland wind-tunnel designs.
- Cars used to have character, both in design and engineering. They were not only built to last, but their inherent beauty is timeless.
- Not so the modern 'grotesqueries' that pass for cars today. Oh, yeah...take your EV's and shove it!
Pre-electronic controls, electronic fuel injection, and transistorized ignition vehicles aren't subject to the usual short-life span failure of all things electronic. [read: Electronics suddenly stop working.]
- That's not considering what an EMP does to 'duracell' cars.
Mechanical carburators and points do wear out and need to be maintained, but they aren't interfered with by EMP.
Bonus: Vehicles with mechanically injected diesel engines are invulnerable to EMP. They don't need a working alternator/generator to run, and can burn fuels other than diesel...like the toxic vegetable oils people fry food in.
But, while not very many people concern themselves with an EMP event...no one gives ANY thought to the 'modern tech cars' that bathe you in an EMF field!
- Powerful electronic motors, high voltage batteries, and all those gee-whiz electronic 'conveniences' generate EMF fields...and when you're in one of these monstrosities you are surrounded by multiple EMF emissions/radiation. That cannot be good for you, but no one seems to have noticed this, tested for it, or cares.
I consider it modern day KARMASUTRA:
Technology has found all sorts of ways to fuck us in creative ways and positions because 'saving the planet' or something.....
