In another time, the local Minneapolis paper was the MINNEAPOLIS STAR (long before it stopped any pretence of journalism and overtly became the Red Star) which featured a daily column by Jim Klobuchar.
- I did not always agree with him, but I always enjoyed his thoughts and insights. He was a very smart fella. RIP Jim, you are missed.
Amy Klobuchar traded on his name recognition and became a prominent Minnesota Democrat [read: DFL-Democratic Farmer Labor] political hack.
- I have never agreed with anything she has ever said (in her defense she only spouts the approved 'party line' like a good little Socialist), adding insult to injury she is dumb as a box of rocks.
- I doubt the DFL can do better today, but at least they have Tim Walz and Ilhan Omar going for them, so there's that.
Amy trotting out this 'sympathy piece' supporting the raison d'etre for her Party's keeping the government shut down well...it positively brings tears to my eyes.
- This is one of the STUPIDIST things I hope to run across this week!
