On the bright side of life (h/t Monty Python) I can honestly say I have never owned a Subaru!
True story: I once had a boss who staunchly maintained that anyone and everyone who drove s Subaru was an asshole. End of discussion.
- I never asked what experience caused his animated and emotional reaction to Subaru drivers.
While I have known a few Subaru owners over the years, I have concluded that he was fundamentally correct in his assertion but flawed in overlooking BMW owners who are without exception THE biggest assholes on the road.
- If one ever feels worthless, just consider there is someone at the BMW werks whose sole job it is to install turn signals on those cars. Thus endeth the discussion.

Correlation is not causation but they are sometimes attached at the hip. I can confirm. I am an ass hole and I also once drove a 2019 Subaru outback for a few months. It was a OK car that made me 7K when I traded it in. Good times...
