The Gov of South Carolina has appointed Miss Graham's little sister [age 62?] to fill his Senate vacancy.
I suspect some may regard this in the context of Gaius Caesar Germanicus [Caligula] wanting to make his favorite horse Incitatus* a Roman Senator [spoiler: he didn't, dying before he could make it happen but many Sentors then -as now- would better serve their constituencies were they actually horses or at least had a horse's sense (horse sense), instead of merely being horse's asses].
My take on today's Senate appointment news is completely different.
- Is this a GENIUS move? IF so, then I say AWESOME!
Little sister's career has been helping mentally challenged people find meaningful employment/work.
- CONgress then is a target-rich environment for her...Hell, over half of the Senate is at best retarded and one hopes they will need to be placed in a new work environment after this year's election.
