CONgress has become the most useless, worthless, and self-serving branch of government...constantly demonstrating the wisdom of Cicero who observed that politicians are not made, but excreted.
Like Mark Twain, I appreciate and value my dog more and more every day.
Our legislature would be better off populated by dogs, and so would we be better off.
Hear me out. There is a local community near me that runs itself and has no government.
- One year someone decided a mayor was needed and they ran for office.
- The community did not agree and ran a dog as a competing mayoral candidate.
- The dog won. Not only that election, but several until the obviously 'slow learner' gave up their efforts to run the town.
- The town ran just fine, is still there and running just fine, and the dog retired from office.
- There is no mayor to this day!
