Iceland volcano jokes...........
It’s a bit early for Iceland volcano jokes. We should wait awhile for the dust to settle.
I see that America has declared war on Iceland. Apparently they are accusing them of harbouring a “weapon of ash eruption”.
It was the last wish of the Icelandic economy that its ashes be spread over Europe.
Iceland goes bankrupt, then it manages to set itself on fire. This has insurance scam written all over it.
Waiter, there's volcanic ash in my soup. II know, it's a no-fly zone.
Richard Curtis is working on a new rom-com about people stuck in an airport who fall in love. The working title is "Lava Actually".
Volcano in Iceland. What next Earthquake in Asda?

The UK Election in a tub..............
What worries me is that none of them are fit to run this country. Fo a start none have done military service, which to me is a duty.

Decline Time!
Grüß Gott! It's decline time - again!
"The foundational American myth of empire is exceptionalism, the belief, dating back to the Puritans, that the U.S. is different, better, and morally superior to the rest of the world. Americans have always looked at the outside world suspiciously and viewed it as a source of contagion: war, imperialism, militarism, religious intolerance, non-democratic forms of governance, and latterly totalitarianism, genocide, and terrorism. All these bad things, we believe, come from “over there.”
So? That is exactly correct.
The declinists boring assetted and seriously suspect worldview finally gets to the raison d'etre':
"To change our foreign policy—to come to grips with the end of the Pax Americana—we first need to change the way we see the world."
Yawn. Must. Stay Awake.
Actually, the superiority of tolerant, egalitarian societies with a free, uncensored press, periodic transparent elections, independent judiciary under elected oversight, civilian control of the military, nat'l treasury open to public scrutiny and religious freedom is pretty obvious.
For whatever reasons - Americans DO NOT play 'everything is equal - everything is cool in it's own little way."
Americans do the "which one of these things is not like the other."
Pic - "Great Satan remains the world’s indispensable nation -- indispensable to international peace, security, and stability, and indispensable to safe-guarding and advancing the ideals and principles we hold dear."

Is the BBC playing subliminal mindgames with the electorate?
Is it me or does BBC Breakfast presenter Simon Jack have more than a passing resemblance to Gordon Brown. We all know that the BBC support Labour but would they try and 'influence' people by having 'Gordon Brown' in their faces first thing in the morning.

A 'new' minority...........from Rico
Thank you Marxists for making the middle-class a minority!
The Democrats (C) "pork fest" saved jobs and created jobs? Unemployment below 10%?
Yeah. Right. Sure.
Pew Research for Mar 2010 identifies:
- unemployment per household at 54%
- 70% of households clobbered by job/financial problems
If you have not been 'hurt' yet you are in the minority!!!
Gee....who to believe? The Government would not LIE to us. Our politicians would not LIE to us.
- Pew researchers must be racists! Recovery is not a media sham, but is real. To use a Wall Street term, Washington would NEVER "short" the middle-class! Destroy it, yes...but no naked short sales. Nawwwww.

Save an Old Soldier, prevent the sale of white poppies
A peacenik group in New Zealand who seek peace through violent attacks on government installations have decided they should be funded by taking money from the old soldiers themselves. I suspect they have missed the mood of the country regarding our most sacred holiday. (Thats where the word comes from, Holy Day.)
How To Sell More
London, England
I've spent many years on the sales-force and it was drummed into us to ask questions. Not any old questions but the right questions. By asking the right questions, you'll uncover your prospects needs or requirements. As some of you already know, I've been doing some work with Geoff Burch recently and here is on video presenting the case for asking questions.
Asking questions is important at all stages of the sales cycle, even when cold-calling. You can download my cold-calling tips from the training page on my website. Asking questions of an audience is a great way to engage them. As a corporate presenter and event host I use this tactic a lot. It's a key skill to have and when executed properly helps with the smooth running of a conference, convention or workshop.
Did you know you can buy one of Geoff Burch's books on-line? Just click on this book link.
