LETHAL BORDER VIOLENCE

Robert Krentz was a prominent rancher in Arizona, his family cattle ranching business stretches back nearly 100 years. Krentz was featured several times over the past few decades in media reports regarding the problems surrounding illegal immigration into the United States across the Arizona border.
On March 27, 2010, Krentz was found shot dead on his ranch property; local authorities say evidence indicates that his assailant was most likely an illegal immigrant.
Krentz's killing has attracted national attention, and Democrat and Republican lawmakers from Arizona and neighboring New Mexico have called upon the federal government to send U.S. National Guard troops to secure the border in the aftermath of Krentz's murder.

News from South Africa...........
Hi Theo,
The last time we "chatted" was in 2007 and I'm still a daily visitor.
Saw you posted this link: Eugene Terre'Blanche 'murdered by his own workers'
His supporters are mourning and planning action. Afriforum and the small political parties are urging for calm.
I know you have posted about South Africa before and I feel I need too share something...
His death is in the world media and will be used for certain reasons but I've wanted to contact you for a while now.
We as white South Africans (English and Afrikaners) are staring down the barrel.
We are waiting...
From hate speech to daily hijackings, home invasions, farm attacks, rape and blatant animal murder - we are afraid and alone.
I know you highlight the New Age World Disorder and nowhere is safe.
My humble request is that you share with your readers the current situation and future of South Africa. We are a 2nd Zimbabwe in the making. The whole Soccer World Cup will come and pass. South Africans - black and white - will not bear the fruits. The ANC will blossom and their leaders will reap the benefits but the people will still suffer and further force this beautifully country down the toilet.
Therefore if you are willing I'll send you links daily showing through our media and eyes what is happening.
Thank you
Ator

My Review: I was dreading this series as I thought David Tennant was brilliant. Having just watched it, I am impressed and it is going to be well worth watching the next few episodes to see how it goes.

Paper or plastic?.................from Rico
I was shopping for groceries the other day and was asked "paper or plastic?" for my bagging choice.
It made me think of "we the people" who...having run low on that pretty green "paper" called Federal Reserve Notes...increasingly have to resort to "plastic" to fill the empty financial hole at the end of the month.
- Tax slaves? Even the IRS is accepting "plastic" for tax payments. They have established "payment plans" too. When taxes increase, and we just turn over all our money to the Government we will have accomplished "transformational CHANGE" thanks to our Marxist politicians.
I am looking at the attached chart for "gold" now (see any pattern?) and comparing it to the prettily engraved/printed "paper" on my wall (a $100 trillion Zimbabwe Dollar), but I am not worried!
- Under our Dear Reader Obama-Soetoro we are going to get real "change" and we can look forward to a Socialist lifestyle (as it was known in the former Soviet Union): "You pretend to pay us, and we'll pretend to work."

Discovery Announcement ~ The densest element in the known Universe has been found!

Pelosium:
A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science. The new element has been named Pelosium. Pelosium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311.
These particles are held together by dark forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
The symbol of Pelosium is PU.
Pelosium's mass actually increases over time, as morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become assistant deputy neutrons within the Pelosium molecule, leading to the formation of isodopes.
This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientist to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as Critical Morass.
When catalyzed with money, Pelosium activates CNNadnausium, an element that radiates orders of magnitude more energy, albeit as incoherent noise, since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons as Pelosium.

Us vs. Them
Candidates of the Restoration?
It is axiomatic among criminal defense attorneys that if your client is a Them, he's goin' down; if he's an Us, you got 'er made. ALL human beings cotton to an us; steer wide of a them. Watch yourself next time you got shopping. That's what you'd do on a jury, O Ye Fair-minded Soul!
Via American Digest a most instructive piece from Wretchard: Reason to Believe --
"So why do smart people believe in dumb things? The author Scott Peck claimed that intelligence was no defense against foolishness, especially where belief was concerned. The intelligent were perhaps even more vulnerable than the simple precisely because they believed themselves to be immune when in fact they were not. All a cult leader had to do was flash his neon sign in the middle of a spiritual night and the vainglorious moths would come in their thousands, beating their wings against the electrified screen. If you built it, they would come. And whether the goals of the belief joint were Helter-Skelter, alien abduction or the Workers Paradise, these temples of the night would do a land-office business and all be built in the same way. All of them would have:
"1. A charismatic leader demanding total authority at their center. From him would radiate authority through an elect group of followers. This is inevitable since power does not spring from the institution, but rather from the personal divinity of the god at its center.
2. Controlling techniques harnessing shame, guilt and peer pressure to bring dissidents to heel. Within a cult are only hymns of praise and condemnations of the wicked. Deviation from dogma would be treated as a moral failing; sin or blasphemy against a sacred leader and his goals.
3. Self-isolation from the world. Cults constitute little universes unto themselves; closed hermetic societies, where the “us” faces out against the “them”.
4. Extremist or fanatical behavior. In a cult excess is normal. Activity is frenzied, every emotion is at the highest pitch. People act as if possessed because time is short. The long awaited moment is at hand.
5. Secrecy and deception. Routine documents are concealed. Inquiries are treated with suspicion. Associations, personal histories, financial records, decisions — all go behind a firewall. Nothing is transparent."
Other folks who saw the emptiness of our times as it was appearing on the horizon: Carl Jung, Eric Hoffer, C.S. Lewis, Erich Fromm, Wilhelm Roepke, Hoh River Boy.

Twitter For Business
London, England
Last year, I filmed the corporate video clip below. At the time I thought that Twitter would become a valuable tool for finding and capturing new customers.
It's certainly a valuable marketing tool but what's the Return on Investment? What metrics would you use to find out whether tweeting has made any difference to your business? From my perspective, I've found Twitter to be a good way of connecting with people but that doesn't turn connections into business.
Twitter is a tiny slice of the marketing pizza and in my opinion you should forget gaining about tangible returns in the short term. Think ROE (return on engagement)rather than ROI.
At the forthcoming Speak Connect Engage seminar in London next month, the use of Twitter and other social media will be discussed.
