The "old fashioned" way.....from Rico
I forget where I ran across this [attached] but it reminded me of a very old TV commercial (for Smith Barney?) about creating wealth "the old fashioned way...we EARN it."
Seems to be a good, clear, message for the "progressives" [read: communist-socialist scum] infesting our body politic today.
We don't "redistribute" wealth [read: steal it from someone who earned it to give it to someone who did not] rather we "earn" it,
Thus endeth my anti-sozialismus rant for today....unless I have another one after the morning bacon!

6. When you are confused ~ I will try to use only little words.
7. When you are sick ~ Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.
8. When you fall ~ I will laugh at your clumsy ass, but I'll help you up.
9. This is my oath .... I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask ~ because you are my friend.
Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth.

Inflation?................from Rico
Looking at the year-on-year increase in these commodity prices, I have to wonder if inflation is starting to sneak upon us while all the teleprompter readers, talking heads, and empty suits distract us with the 'deflation' strawman debate.
Inflation does several things beyond killing the Dollar's purchasing power to raise asset prices.
- It punishes the savers, and
- rewards the reckless (like Congress and Wallstreet) who took risks that just could not....and did not....pay off.
GOOD for Wallstreet & Co, but BAD for mainstreet.

Sunday at the Reb
It's Rule 5 Sunday at the Reb, thanks to Smitty & McCain, who linked to Theo a record number of times. Way to go, Theo! I don't know how you maintain those levels of humility. Obviously I have a LOT to learn!
The Reb's been unusually active this weekend and, thanks to linkage from guys like Bird Dog, we're doing really well, for a low-key, sheepish kind of operation. I think you know what I mean. (A black market in what, Bird Dog?!)
Uncle Kenny wants to know if we can doctor up a birth certificate for Geert Wilders and Run Him as President. Why not? It's been done before. Maybe this time it'll work.

Stuxnet worm origins
The mysterious Stuxnet worm, which Microsoft says dates back to January 2009, is speculated to be a nation-state attack against Iranian nuclear plants. There have even been online murmurings of biblical references and public confirmation that the Iran’s Buescher nuclear reactor was the main target.
Now comes this information suggesting direct links to Israel.
Symantec security researcher Liam O Murchu says he found the “05091979″ date in the Stuxnet code, a possible link to the May 9, 1979 execution of Jewish Iranian businessman and philantropist Habib Elghanian...
...Ny Times reported that in the virus is a reference to the Book of Esther, the Old Testament tale in which the Jews pre-empt a Persian plot to destroy them...
