A century ago, some very clever and very wealthy Bankers, and some less clever but hoping to become wealthy Politicians, met secretly on Jekyll Island and figured out how to create the ultimate long con of all-time. They created a secretive private bank and cleverly named it the Federal Reserve Bank. The phoney name just being one of the many artifices thse Pyrates used to hoodwink, con, and bamboozle the sheeple then, and for many generations to follow.
This con job has been so effective that many today have NO IDEA that the FED is not the US Government, but a private bank, and even fewer actually understand WHO owns this private bank.
This means almost nobody knows or understands whose pockets are being lined, or whose pocket are being emptied, by the FED.
There was a private 'meeting' over the weekend to celebrate the ceation of the FED. While celebrating 100 years of destroying the Dollar and turning America into a banana republic, they may also have discussed (over champagne and cigars) how much longer they can keep this rigged-game going.
While it has often been said that a lawyer with a briefcase can steal more money than the best bank robber, we may need to consider that a secretive banker with his own private Central Bank can out-rob them all and is a Pyrate par excellance!!! Here is a Pyrate Treasure Map to help you connect a few of the dots.....

Bad News for Liberals Leftists May Be Good News for a Liberal Leftist Magazine
Cross-posted from American Power.
*****
I'm bothered, increasingly, by the overwhelming tendency of the major actors and institutions of the political regime to treat those on the far left of the ideological spectrum as "liberals." Leftists are not liberal. They're anti-liberal. But one of the great achievements of radical left-wing politics in the second half of the Twentieth Century was to successfully label the massive Democrat Party interventions in the economy and bureaucracy as "liberal." This is no secret, by any means. The late historian Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., is widely credited with the claim that "There seems no inherent obstacle to the gradual advance of socialism in the United States through a series of New Deals." But thoughout history, the country's manichean and existential struggle against Soviet Communism made it taboo to formally (and accurately) recognize leftist ideology in America as socialist.

We can see just large how the challenge remains at today's New York Times, "Bad News for Liberals May Be Good News for a Liberal Magazine." I've obviously altered the title of this blog entry to better reflect what the Times is attempting to say. Basically, and fair enough, Katrina vanden Heuvel, the editor and publisher of The Nation, sees the current resurgence of right-wing politics as providing a burst of life-saving blood to her far left-wing organ:
No weekly magazine tracked by the Media Industry Newsletter has lost more pages of advertising this year than The Nation.More at the link.
As of Nov. 8, ad pages were down 30 percent compared with last year’s figures, remarkable even though advertising accounts for only a 10th of the revenue. Traffic to TheNation.com has also declined recently. And since 2008, the magazine has run an operating deficit of about $500,000 a year.
Despite all the gloom, could last week’s Democratic pummeling actually have a silver lining for The Nation, once home to writers like Henry James, Ezra Pound, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. and even Yeats? Katrina vanden Heuvel, the magazine’s editor and publisher, did not have to think long about that question.
“If you can’t expose the hypocrisy of this new group of Republicans, then we’re not doing our job. And I mean that,” she said in an interview from her office on election night as she sipped a glass of Champagne, defiant as Democratic losses piled up and the mood around her darkened.
“I mean you’ve got a lot to work with,” she said. “You’ve got a Tea Party caucus in the Senate, a Tea Party caucus in the House. So I think you have a lot of rich material.”
If history is any guide, Ms. vanden Heuvel could be proved right.
The Bush years were good — very good — to The Nation. After operating in the red almost every year since it was founded by abolitionists in 1865, the magazine turned a profit in 2003.
Interestingly, The Nation's main competitors are blogs like Daily Kos and online news aggregators like Huffington Post. And like The Nation, both of these are neo-socialist outlets, but with more modern technological coolness. And also like The Nation, both Kos and Puff Ho are treated as respectable media organs while effectively functioning as neo-socialist appendages to the Democrat Party in Washington.
All of these folks are on the extreme left of the spectrum, and, along with the New York Times itself, they all advance a progressive and statist agenda that reaches from the tops of the elite media shops in Manhattan to the lowest elementary school classrooms in the inner cities. We've seen it over and over. And conservatives need to keep pushing back: Say no to the media lies of neo-socialist press organs as mainstream "liberal" institutions.

NO inflation?..............from Rico
For the second year running, our Government tells us that 'officially' there is NO inflation, and our private bank 'officially' known as the Federal Reserve tells us that we now need MORE inflation.
Sure.
Riiiiiiiight!
And it seems that Nancy Pelosi and fwends have yet to understand that John Q. Public has voted in three straight elections in the last four years to be 'rid' of an abusive and oppressive regime that is looking very much like the French Fourth Republic.
A private 'for profit' (gasp) entity, Casey Research, has assembled a summary of actual year-on-year price increases and compared them to the 'offishul' CPI.
Look at the numbers!
This is what the voters know....at least the ones that do not live in Magic Unicorn Land (a.k.a. Washingtn, D.C.).

Cult of ObamaCare Screams RAAAAACISM!!
It's a been a strange morning on Twitter.
I tweeted this and got back this. That triggered an exchange of tweets around the 'sphere. Turns out that simply opposing ObamaCare gets you attacked as RAAAAACIST, which is no surprise by any means. Here's a roundup:
* "If You Oppose ObamaCare You're RAAAAACIST and UNEDUCATED!!"And I'm currently in an exchange with some guy named F. DaCosta, although, amazingly, he hasn't called me a racist (yet).
* "If You Tweet Your Opposition to ObamaCare You're REALLY RAAAAACIST!!"
* "Opposing ObamaCare is Bigoted Asshattery!!"
It's been interesting, to a point, and there's some other good stuff happening in any case. For example, "GOP: We Owe It to People to Repeal Health Care," and "Report: Olbermann Was Suspended For Refusing To Apologize On Camera." (Via Memeorandum.)

POPPIES..........
When you buy your poppy this year, remember this poem, which is presumed to be anonymous but, in its correct form, was written by John F.Willcocks and was found among his paperwork in 2004. He scarcely knew his father, as he was only 9 months old when his father died as a result of being gassed on The Somme.
POPPIES
Why are they selling poppies, mother? Selling poppies in town today?
The poppy, my child, is the flower of love for the men, who marched away.
Why did they choose a poppy, mother? Why not a beautiful rose?
Because, my child, men fought and died in the fields, where the poppy grows.
But why is the poppy so red?
Red is the colour of blood, my child, the blood that our soldiers shed.
The heart of the poppy is black mother. Why does it have to be black?
Black is the symbol of grief, my child, for the men, who never came back.
But why, mother dear, are you crying so? Your tears are like winter rain.
My tears are my fears for you, my child, for the world is forgetting again.

The winter of QE.........from Rico
We've all had the "summer of recovery" as coined by Joe "plugs" Biden.
- That sure went well, didn't it?
Next we'll get the "winter of quantitative easing."
- Let me explain.
With actual 22.5% unemployment (John Williams/Shadowstat) and NOT the 9.5% 'and we're adding jobs' manure being ladld out to us by phoney government numbers, and my personal favorite....there is NO inflation (as figured by the government, again after cooking the numbers and NOT including energy or food)!!
- Have you bought any coffee lately? Food? Then you know the 'inflatin' numbers are as fakey as the 'unemployment' numbers.
Quantitative Easing One did not fix anything, and it did not create any jobs.
Quantitative Easing Two will not fix anything, and it will not create any jobs...but since the FED now is on a mission to create inflation, we'll GET inflation. More than they reckon for, or will know what to do with, but count on government policies creating worse problem than the one they are trying to solve.
QE-2 will give us inflation, which is really swell for the bottom 20% of America who ar already spending more than half of their incme on FOOD and ENERGY (you know, those items that aren't counted in the inflation/CPI numbers), and with a good dose of inflation soon mainstreet Americans will b deciding if they want to heat the house, drive the car, or eat.
A "Winter of QE 2" will be cold, lean, and hungry. I guess if no one can afford gas or food, they won't have the "energy" to march on DC and lynch anyone.
- Until then, however, extended 'vacations' by our political elites outside the country seem to be the order of the day. Hmmmmmmmm...........

Who Knew? MSNBC's Lawrence O’Donnell Admits On-Air: 'I Am a Socialist'
Cross-posted from American Power.
*****
Via The Blaze.
This is just part of the larger MSNBC commie catfight bewtween O'Donnell and Glenn Greenwald:
God this is wonderful.
Matt Lewis has the background, "'Morning Joe' Battle: Lawrence O'Donnell vs. Glenn Greenwald," and he notes:
... the larger debate here is over whether Democrats will view the 2010 midterm elections as evidence they misread their mandate and over-reached after 2008 -- or if they will view it as evidence they moderated too much after 2008.And never one to miss having the last word, Rick Ellensburg has more, "Lawrence O'Donnell vehemently denies his own words." In a couple of thousand words, Ellensburg regurgitates the line that "Democrats weren't socialist enough." This is essentially the left's pathology of defeat and denial. For the ace rebuttal, see William Galston, "It's the Ideology, Stupid."
