Mr. Gadhafi, Funny, You Don't Look Jewish...........by Dan Friedman
AP is reporting that the latest slogan being used to spur on the Libyan opposition is "Gadhafi, you Jew!"
This has got to be a sure sign that 1) Gadhafi is history and 2) tears of joy are streaming down the cheeks of the freedom-loving crowd at Commentary and The Weekly Standard.

Pathetic, sad.............from Rico
It is indeed pathetic and sad to see the formerly-free-market known as the USA sink so LOW!
Silver is a thinly traded market, but when it does well it makes the paper-meisters of the Fed/Treasury look bad. Can't have that, now can we?!
- If you LOOK good, you ARE good, riiiiight?
The blatant and shameless MANIPULATION of markets is difficult to watch, much less endure...

THE SAGA OF THE MERCENARY SOLDIER, PART II
Mercenaries are in the headlines again; Qaddafi's personal foreign legion are basically a pack of thugs from Zimbabwe.
Suspected African mercenaries stand in a room in a court in Benghazi as they are held by anti-Qaddafi protesters, February 24, 2011
. . . they are heathen savages, capable of the most horrific atrocities. To call them barbarians is an insult to all barbarians everywhere . . .

Iraq: Where's The Gratitude?............by Dan Friedman
The WSJ reports that now Iraq has joined the Arab uprising sweeping the Middle East. That’s right, the people we fought and died for in order to give them a democracy are using their democracy to rise up against it. In turn, Iraq’s democratic” government is employing many of the same repressive techniques that we’ve seen in Libya, Egypt and Iran. The whole thing is almost too much irony for my system to stand. df

Who owns "US?"..............from Rico
WHO owns US debt today?
Congratulations! The privately-owned foreign banking entity a.k.a. "The FED" apparently does, having surpassed China...handily...by achieving ownership of US Treasurys 37% greater than China! Huzzah!
Now, there are very few things that the FED really has direct control over, and the one certain thing you can point to is our Adjusted Monetary Base. This is what it looks like today. Fugly! Almost as fugly as the FED's Balance Sheet.
Let's return to my original question, just from a different prespective. Ask NOT who owns US debt, but who now owns "us" (we the people)?
