He's entering his final year of a four-year term, and he's just NOW getting around to defining "HOPE' one of the two utterly meaningless buzz-words that so appealed to the utterly stupid who elected him [for Democrats read: CHANGE, the other-other word].

So, let's see now, with his new dictatorial powers we need to "HOPE" he doesn't lock us up forever without charges.

Now about that "CHANGE" thing........

Bye-bye 2011?
- Good riddance and/or 'don't let the doorknob hit you in the small of the back as you leave' might be much more apt.

That said, I am not at all optimistic about our prospects for 2012.
- Absolutely nothing has been done to make next year 'better'...in fact, it seems like everything that was 'done' in 2011 was intended to make for a truly crappy 2012.

While it is usual and human to make 'predictions' at this time of year, you do NOT want to hear mine. They are too gloomy.
- Instead, be mindful that Nomura recommends being "long" gold. That actually says quite a lot about what the 40# brains think of our future.
