Disgraced New York "pole" may have "one eye" on Gracie Mansion...from Mike Haltman at TPC
Coincidence? Accident? I think NOT...
I have never seen anything like this before. Never!
My closing positions in CEF and PSLV last Friday, were EXACTLY my closing positions today (Monday). I don't mean "close" like in a game of horse shoes, but I mean to the exact penny in both positions. Both days. Unchanged. Something 'gives' but what?
[For Central Planners read: "What Gives?"]
- The 'odds' of this happening are much akin to those of getting the same number twice in a row spinning a roulette wheel. Impossible.
Coincidence? Accident?
- I am inclined to think NOT.
While it may indicate sloppiness and carelessness along with the certainty that the Putzes and Shmucks of the CFTC won't 'see' or 'say' or 'do' anything to market manipulators, it absolutely 'reeks' of a crooked table and a rigged casino.
- I think I'll watch Robert DeNiro in "Casino" tonight, since I'm in the mood for some reason...

In Case You're Behind on the Left's Despicable Attacks on Mitt Romney...
I've been following this story closely, and here's the latest: "Facts Don't Support Obama's Charges Against Romney."
Plus, I'm adding below some reports from the last day or so. You should get up to speed with these, but keep in mind: The attacks on Romney at Bain from 1999 to 2002 form just one part of the main Democrat strategy heading into November. We'll see an all-out assault on the free market itself, because that's the essence of all the lies and smears. The problem is that Team Romney has been blowing one opportunity after another to regain the upper hand and deflect the left's false narratives. There's still time, but with the exception of a few decent folks in the MSM (CNN's been doing excellent reporting, for example), the Romney campaign has two foes to vanquish: Barack Obama and his despicable enablers in the Democrat-Media-Complex.
More later. Until then:
* "Take the Mitts Off, Mitt!"
* "New York Times Confession: 'No Evidence Has Yet Emerged That Mr. Romney Exercised His Powers at Bain After February 1999...'."
* "Karl Rove: Obama Attacks are 'Gutter Politics of the Worst Chicago Sort'."
* "Obama Bain Attacks Continue."
* "Whatever Happened to Hope and Change?"
* "Stephanie Cutter, Obama Deputy Campaign Manager, Doubles Down on Discredited Bain Attacks."

Kelly Brook Bursts Out of Plunging Scarlet Dress as She Promotes Sky Ride Manchester
I'm just happy this lady keeps herself in the news.
She's got an enormous rack.
See: "Kelly Brook Bursting Out of Low-Cut Dress on Sky Ride Manchester."
And it's a good thing she wasn't wearing those drab gray sweatshirts for most of the event. You'd never see her phenomenal breasts trying to break free!

Why it Never Gets Better in Afghanistan: A Documentary
Watch a first-hand account of the widespread corruption; get an inside look at the drug trade, rampant child sex abuse, and ever-present Taliban control. All these elements make Afghanistan one of the most frightening and unstable places on earth.
We touch down in Kabul and are treated to Taliban hospitality on the first night: a suicide bomb at a neighboring hotel interrupts a pleasant night's sleep. After kicking around pieces of the suicide bomber with local kids, we meet General Farooq Assas, head of the Afghan National Police Force, the kids who are being trained to police the country. At the end of the day, we drink moonshine with an ex-Mujahideen who has a thing for young boys. And they said Kabul would be heavy.

US #1 in Zombies...................from Rico
The imaginary "flight to safety" in US Treasurys never fails to amuse me. Every economic 'hiccup' (or death-rattle) seems to prompt it.
- US Treasurys are alternately known as "the cleanest dirty shirt" and "the best-looking horse at the glue factory" and this is the common wisdom created and perpetuated by FTV/MSM spin.
Wiser heads have considered them "return-free risk."
What is a true safe haven?
NATAXIS has taken a look at the sovereign solvency of some major economies. The US scored #1...that is to say DEAD LAST (a score of 5 being the best, and 1 being the worst).
- Sweden got the only score of 5; Norway a respectable 4. Look at the attached again for the singular #1...it's the US.
Since the FED is essentially the ONLY purchaser of US Treasurys [read: DEBT] the question begged of 'WHO would lend money to a chronic deadbeat?' is answered. Nobody. Anyone who has been watching the Treasury auctions instead of Snookie on Jersey Shore knows this, which begs another question: 'Who in their right mind would vote for more of the same?' which is answered infra...the Zombies who will vote for Barry, that's who.

The unmitigated gall of Barack Obama!...from Mike Haltman at TPC
Why Mitt Romney is Unlikable!
1. Drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious, statesmanlike aura. Looks like every central casting's #1 choice for Commander-in-Chief.
2. Been married to ONE woman his entire life, and has been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast cancer and MS.
3. No scandals or skeletons in his closet. (How boring is that?)
4. Can't speak in a fake, southern, "black preacher voice" when necessary.
5. Highly intelligent. Graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School... and by the way, his academic records are NOT sealed.
6. Doesn't smoke or drink alcohol, and has never done drugs, not even in the counter-culture age when he went to college. Too square for today's America?
7. Represents an America of "yesterday", where people believed in God, went to Church, didn't screw around, worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!
8. Has a family of five great sons....and none of them have police records or are in drug rehab. But of course, they were raised by a stay-at-home mom, and that "choice" deserves America's scorn.
9. Oh yes.....he's a MORMON. We need to be very afraid of that very strange religion that teaches its members to be clean-living, patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable, self-reliant, and honest.
10. And one more point.....pundits say because of his wealth, he can't relate to ordinary Americans. I guess that's because he made that money HIMSELF.....as opposed to marrying it or inheriting it from Dad. Apparently, he didn't understand that actually working at a job and earning your own money made you unrelatable to Americans.
But, on the minus side, he never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with communists or terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US. [Oooops!]
