Heading into Jimmy Carter's third term with "forward?" [translation: Throw money at problems until it is clear this doesn't work.] Will this government cut spending? Nawww....not when they can take current and future wealth from its subjects. Taxes WILL go up. [read: bend forward.] - Income tax rates are going up. - Capital gains rates are going up. - Rates on dividends are going up. - Tax exclusions are going down. The regime has a new motto to replace 'e pluribus unum' and it is: - 'All 'yo money are belong to us!'

While half a nation is apparently 'dreaming' of a red flag with a hammer and sickle, and the other half is mourning the death of the first Republic, there do remain some choices. I know someone who is already flying a fifteen-stripe and 15-star flag in memory of the "star spangled banner" that flew over Ft. McHenry. - Of course, most products of Government-run schools today have no clue what Ft McHenry means, or who Francis Scott Key was, much less that their national flag from 1795-1818 had fifteen stars and stripes. I am tempted to get one. But then, I am waiting to 'see' what happens with the Florida vote count. Twenty three states did not vote for Barry Soetoro, the endorsed candidate of the CP-USA and the Muslim Brotherhood, so a 23-star flag or maybe a 24-star flag may also be an option to consider. Anything than the hammer-and-sickle!

Once election 2012 is in the books (and now unfortunately it is) and a new president of the United States is selected (and now unfortunately he was), Americans face both a lame duck Congress along with a looming fiscal cliff.

A bad combination to say the least!

It does not matter.
- It never did matter.

Neither one could have, or would have, fixed the economy, debt, unemployment, or inflation.

It is naive, if not daft, to think that either one would somehow do "less damage" than the other.
- The damage has already been done, the iceberg has been struck, and the math guarantees the calamity we face will be the same. Who gets to wear the Captain's hat when the Titanic sinks really does not matter at this point.

There are only two options left. 1. Prepare for this to end badly, and 2. Prepare for this to end badly.

You may say I'm crying wolf, but please remember that in the end the wolf came.
