Liberals and their accomplices in the MSM have in the sixty years since WWII nearly undone hundreds if not thousands of years of social tradition. Our fathers could not possibly imagine that we would pay people to have children out of wedlock, and then pay for their healthcare, schooling, food, housing, drug counseling, and all too often their arrest, incarceration, and more counseling and rehabilitation. We are paying for millions who don't work, don't care and have children as a career option. The media hastens the dismantling of our traditions by endorsing counter-cultural lifestyles. Our children grow-up with not a care of personal responibility, as they stay anesthetized with ipods and video games. God forbid that we try to discipline them as our liberal psychologist have told us not to spank the children. They are lost jaded creatures steeped in a toxic pop culture enamored with losers, slackers, drug abusers and counter-culturalists. Thanks to liberalism we are raising a generation of nihilist who are going to be clobbered by the chinese and indians who understand the importance of the work ethic and who want our middle class lifestyles. Liberalism is being a "meditation instructor" from upstate New York who has been living in a beach hotel in Del Mar California that you meet while soaking in the hotel's hot tub who tells you that she's been living there for the last 4 months getting some sort of kinesthesia for back pain who tells you how wonderful Fidel Castro was for implementing full blown communism in Cuba, wishes she could visit Cuba and totally fails to understand that every single person in Cuba would swap places with her in a heartbeat. The other two liberal academics in the hot tub agree with her and wish they too could visit Cuba and show their kids how wonderful a return to the natural life would be.

What's left is problems that respond to direct action with perverse side-effects.
That's why liberals are today mostly wrong and conservatives (the party of perverse side-effect accounting) are mostly right.
