watched the NK stuff. Good but almost identical to another on youtube. I wonder if it were the same crew.
didnt watch the garbage movie. Too many campp voices swearing. Why so much of the F word?
I watched this series but I didn't watch the NK ones. Wanted to see what the big garbage dump in the gyre was all about and now I know.
I was laughing at the camp girly-swearing too.
theo! i thought the north korea series was great...garbage island isn't bad...the cocaine/south america series was pretty good...i've also looked at a bunch of their other series...a nice, welcome change to MSM...max bouvier, esq
Loved the North Korea series, I actually looked forward to them. Haven't had the time to watch the others yet.
watched the NK one and some of the SA series.
But the garbage ones look like a bunch of leftie wankers--just my perception : )
Garbage Island stuff is deeply and abidingly "Who cares?"
Just whining without a moment's thought about the sheer scale of things they are in the midst of.
N Korea videos were very good, but the garbage island... not so much.
The Vice Guide to North Korea was excellent, everyone in the West, and especially South Korea should see it.
The Garbage Island ... not so much.
Worthy subject, but the crew was too juvenile and annoying. The video could have been edited down to about 6-7 episodes - would have held my interest better.
Good stuff, the NK vids. I'd check out the others, but will now give a pass to the garbage island due to the advice of the others here.
