While it is little consolation, one of my partners called my attention to the following facts: 1) 52,000 more votes in Florida; 2) 116,000 more in Virginia; 3) 104,000 more in Ohio; and 4) 41,000 more in New Hampshire; 5) For a total of merely 313,000 more votes; Mitt Romney is President of the United States. The Electoral College makes it seems more significant but it really was very close. So, there is no mandate for anything. What Ronald Reagan did was draw moderates to himself by explaining his values, not changing them to attract votes. The message needs to be clear and convincing and we will win. Let's start by winning the Senate in 2014.
