If you haven’t, it’s because all news of that unfortunate incident is being heavily redacted to conceal that fact. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and do a Google search for “Charlotte shooting” or “black cop Charlotte shooting” or “Officer Brentley Vinson” and see for yourself what you find.
CNN put up this image of the man, but they may have taken it down by now. In any event, their actual report of the incident never gives the policeman’s race.
Of course, the media has a built-in alibi. They’re just trying to protect the cop’s life. But I don’t buy it.

So she is "hiding" but she cannot "hide" those eyes, those lyin' eyes, and her forced smile is a thin disguise.
