CARS: Once Upon a Time................from Rico
Once upon a time, America made CARS that people wanted to buy...and drive...instead of squashed-bug, electric shaver, dust-buster clones.
Soon two of the former "Big Three" (Ford and GM) will effectively stop making cars, and I'm waiting for the Chrysler shoe to drop next.

I don't understand why the "progressives" aren't 100% behind this. The natives on this Andaman island didn't use tear gas, razor-wire, or build a wall yet are world-class border-control champions! The MSM presstitutes also seem befuddled, alternately reporting this chap as a "Christian missionary" and a "Mormon"...go figure. They top this by speculating he may not actually be dead, poison-tipped arrows notwithstanding. Whatever and whomever he was, he was NOT welcome. There are a LOT of borders/places in the world where intruders are NOT welcome and are dealt with 'extreme prejudice.' And America defending its borders is considered savage and uncivilized by "progressive" Democrats...go figure.

It's been all "Fun and Games" for years under the corrupt Democrats, but the time of "Law by Rulers" is about over and the "Rule of Law" is about to return.
- It's time for some biblical "eye for an eye" paybacks.
You probably have heard the expression "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye*" and you have certainly observed the Democrats blithely ignoring rules and laws as if there would never be any consequences, it's about damned time for some consequences.

*In ancient Roman wrestling there was only one rule (unlike modern Democrat politics where there are no rules)..."no eye gouging." The only way to be disqualified as a Roman wrestler was to poke someone's eye out. In a Constitutional Republic, with a "Rule of Law" Treason is disqualifying and puts your lights out, not your eye.

The 2018 Congressional mid-terms was evocative of the East-coast Democrats telling the Left-coast Democrats "here, hold my beer."- Being pragmatic more than unkind here, watching Democrats in politics is much like watching a spastic try and eat and ice cream cone. A mess. There are far too many who 'think' (I use that term loosely) that the new Democrat majority in the House is somehow positive...even a good thing in some vague way.- In all fairness, if you believed in CHANGE without asking what or why or into what you're probably one of those. Everyone else should consider that Rep Alexandria Occasional-Cortex (D-NY) is joining the likes of Rep Hank Johnson (D-GA) who, in his own words:"My fear is that the whole island [Guam]...will tip over and capsize." Watching these intellectual stumble-bums trying to put the impeachment cart before the unicorn will be painful indeed to watch.

Think: Making LIES the TRUTH
The kollective Left, in particular the Media, is heavily invested in pushing a false agenda [read: Fake News] that includes poor starving refugees being made into 'victims' by the evil racist Americans...and Trump.
That the LEFT stages hoax photo opportunities and presents them as spontaneous and real speaks volumes.
- So does the virtually identical way they present their 'angle' from multiple outlets.
Consider the plight of the poor 'starving' refugees [read: freeloaders] from other countries yearning for the 'right' of free EBT courtesy of American taxpayers...like this starving woman checking her iPhone.
- Yup! Somehow the Left considers that she has a basic Constitutional 'right' to pursue as many rolls of fat as possible, all paid for citizens supposedly under said [American] Constitution.
- Nossiree! That's somehow not something you need to know about or think about, so you get crickets from the Media again. This speaks volumes, too.
None of the Media teleprompter readers, parrots, and Lefty stooges are worth listening to on any topic, and they aren't worth a Tinker's Damn...kollectively OR individually.
When Gov't Makes Choices For You..................from Rico
Many people may not yet have 'heard' that Ford announced at its last stock holders meeting that it was getting completely out of the passenger car business in North America soon.
- They will be followed by GM, which has said quietly that it, too, will no longer make passenger cars for North America before too long.
WHY?
- The conventional wisdom is that (a) there is more profit in larger vehicles like SUV's and Trucks than there is in passenger cars, and (b) fortuitously the American consumer suddenly prefers SUV's and Trucks over passenger cars. This is partly true, like all good lies.
- What really happened is that consumers do not want to buy the passenger cars that automakers are allowed by government to manufacture, and they are voting with their wallets and buying bigger vehicles with bigger engines...SUV's and Trucks.
It's ALL about CHOICE.
- Unelected gooberment bureauRATs have decided for automakers what kind of passenger car they are allowed to make, and by extension these do-gooder pencil -neck eco-geeks have decided what kind of passenger cars consumers are allowed to buy.
- The logical result is that automakers have now chosen to no longer make under-powered dinky-sized passenger cars because they cannot sell them, and consumers have chosen not to buy under-powered dinky-sized passenger cars because, well....they suck.
Once the "save the planet" ecotards have made passenger cars unavailable by virtue of their being grossly undesirable (if not outlawing internal combustion engines entirely; their ultimate goal and wet dream btw) consumers will still have a "CHOICE" however.
- It's called (a) ride mass transit systems while looking out the window at the big sedans and limousines still allowed for the ruling class and their apparatchiks, or (b) beating shoe leather along the sidewalk.

Democracy Is Just A Word From A Bygone Age......................from Dan T
Watching the Mother of Parliaments led by Prime Minister Theresa May ignore the biggest ever mandate given to it by the British people to take their ancient nation out of the autocratic European Union (EU) should serve as warning to all free people around the world; government with the consent of the governed is fragile and can be abolished at any time.
It is also a warning that no matter how powerful a nation may be, it is the enemy inside the gates that slowly eats away at the values and moral fiber that holds it together that results in its ultimate demise.
Both Houses of Parliament have reneged on their manifesto commitment to implement the result of the Brexit referendum and their pledge not to hold a second referendum to overturn the first.
Theresa May is only the latest in a long line of Prime Ministers that have accepted globalism and committed themselves to replacing the independent nation states of Europe with a single state as part of the wider project for a single global government in a borderless world.
Without the membership of Great Britain, the long planned United States of Europe would be a bankrupt, German controlled petty dictatorship comparable with the old Yugoslavia not the powerful and influential superstate the founders envisaged.

Here is a very small example of how "liberals-progressives" [read: Leftist assholes] tell REAL lies and demonstrate FAKE outrage. 1. The Leftard political cartoon poking Trump and his Wall, lies by omission:- The Berlin Wall was intended to keep people IN, and under the rule of the Communists.- Trump's Wall is intended to keep 3-rd world invaders and wanna-be Democrat voters OUT. 2. Hillary saying the Muslim Brotherhood is peaceful should be all the proof you need that they are anything but peaceful.- SHE is congenitally incapable of either recognizing...or telling...the TRUTH. 3. And the kept-whores and presstitutes of the MSM are no better than Hillary. They have their thongs in a twist and made a really big deal over the death of Kashoggi, and I believe they are in genuine distress. Why? Not for the reasons "oh, the humanity" you might think.- They accidentally-on-purpose 'forgot' to tell anyone that this Kashoggi asshole was not only a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood, but he was their main propagandist (he was never a journalist), he never had a Green Card and was a foreign national, plus in his spare time was an active violent Jihadist. [Do you 'see' why the Left is so grief-stricken to lose him?; Myself, I think however he was terminated was more merciful than he actually deserved.]
