Is this the reason behind the rash of banker suicides? (Video)...from TPC
Introducing the WAVE concept truck
The Walmart Advanced Vehicle Experience, or WAVE, concept truck is the latest in our fleet efficiency program. The one-of-a-kind prototype offers a whole package of firsts. The tractor has very advanced aerodynamics and is powered by a prototype advanced turbine-powered, range-extending series hybrid powertrain. The trailer is made almost exclusively with carbon fiber, saving around 4,000 pounds which can then be used to carry more freight.

Related? Yes, it's ON.........................from Rico
These things (and more) are related, and yes, it's now ON like Donkey Kong.
In 2013 the FED bought 150 percent more US paper (debt) than ALL foreigners combined.
China just DUMPED a bnch of US paper (debt).
Having grossly mishandled its own financial resources, the US Government is launching a "push" to mishandle the remaining financial resources of its subjects...er, citizens and the propaganda machine is going full Goebbels retard pushing MyRA [read: making Your Retirement Account into My Retirement Account by stealing your cash).
Well, te US is insolvent you know [for Keynesians and "progressives" read: broke, el busto] and badly needs more money whether borrowed, begged, or stolen.....
This is NOT going to end well.

Everyman Should Have a Rifle....................
So I sit and write and ponder, while the house is deaf and dumb,
Seeing visions “over yonder” of the war I know must come.
In the corner – not a vision – but a sign for coming days
Stand a box of ammunition and a rifle in green baize.
And in this, the living present, let the word go through the land,
Every tradesman, clerk and peasant should have these two things at hand.
No – no ranting song is needed, and no meeting, flag or fuss -
In the future, still unheeded, shall the spirit come to us!
Without feathers, drum or riot on the day that is to be,
We shall march down, very quite, to our stations by the sea.
While the bitter parties stifle every voice that warns of war,
Every man should own a rifle and have cartridges in store!

The Great American Recovery................................from Rico
The MSM, the Regime, and even Yellanke of the FED still talk about 'recovery' in the very best tradition of Soviet falsehood.
- Bad is Good, Down is Up, Slavery is Freedom, Ignorance is Strength.
Da, tovarisch, this is SOME recovery America is having.
- Let's call it the Great American Recovery why don't we? If the lie is big enough, and repeated often enough, it will be believed if the sheeple are stupid enough.
And, in all fairness to the backwards-minded "progressives" you COULD say these are all indicators of a recovery:
- An UNEMPLOYMENT RECOVERY: Unemployment. 23.2 percent per ShadowStats, not the claimed 'offishul' 6.6 (U.6) percent.
- A FOOD STAMP RECOVERY: With 47,6 million (and climbing) now on Food Stamps, America has more people on Food Stamps than Spain has people. If you are on Food Stamps you win a "free" ObamaPhone with "free" airtime as a bonus.
- A HOUSING RECOVERY: Mortgage applications are now back to pre-bubble 1990's levels and have actually been pretty 'flat' for over three years now.
- A NATIONAL DEBT RECOVERY: We'll talk about how that has doubled under Barry LNU in some other rant.
- A FED RECOVERY: So QEternity hasn't really helped anyone off Wall Street, but the FED deserves honorable mention for making the purchasing power of a 1913 penny the same as that for a 2014 Dollar. Color me impressed!
Apart from claiming that there is a 'recovery' there is only one thing left to seal the deal, and cement America's future [think Chicago, think cement overshoes] and that is for the Liar-in-Chief to say:
"If you LIKE your recovery, you can KEEP your recovery."

GoPro: Red Bull Stratos - The Full Story
October 14, 2012, Felix Baumgartner ascended more than 24 miles above Earth's surface to the edge of space in a stratospheric balloon. Millions across the globe watched as he opened the door of the capsule, stepped off the platform, and broke the speed of sound while free falling safely back to Earth. Felix set three world records that day—and inspired us all to reach beyond the limits of our own realities, and reimagine our potential to achieve the incredible.
GoPro was honored to be a part of this epic achievement, with seven HERO2 cameras documenting every moment. From the airless freeze of outer space, to the record-breaking free fall and momentous return to ground—see it all through Felix's eyes as captured by GoPro, and experience this incredible mission like never before. No one gets you closer than this.

Flying Bankers?.........................from Rico
The "crash" of 1929 generated stories about a slew of Bankers-Investors jumping from skyscrapers onto Wall Street below, but this was mainly urban myth.
- There may only have been TWO actual jumpers in 1929, despite the <12> drop of the Dow on "Black Tuesday" which was preceeded by a <13> drop on Monday, and a drop of <11> the prior Thursday.
So what does the recent UNRELATED (?) rash of Banker deaths (the number is over 20 now) mean? We already have 'matched' the 1929 number of two flying bankers, but with many more casualties this time around.
- It's just 'coincidence' right? It couldn't have anything at all to do with the rampant fraud and corruption in the western banking system (think LIBOR-rigging, but in the context of the latest 'problems' involving FOREX-rigging).
- The 'connection' of JPM, DB (Deutsche Bank, NOT dead bankers), the financial industry at large or the FOREX manipulations coming to light have nothing to do with anything...so the good Sgt Schulz (aka 'Schulzie') kindly informs me....nor does the fact that some of these people were close colleagues and worked together.
Connect some of these dots:
11 Jan - missing - David Bird, WSJ commodities reporter
26 Jan - dead, cause unknown - Tom Dickerson, Swiss Re AG
- dead - W. Broeksuit, Sr Mgr Deutsche Bank
27 Jan - dead - Karl Slym, Managing Director Tata Motors
28 Jan - dead, 'fell' from roof JPM's london HQ - Gabriel McGee VP
29 Jan - dead - Mike Dueker, Russell Investment
3 Feb - dead, cause unknown - Ryan Crane, Executive Director JPM Global Equities Group
6 Feb - dead, suicide by nail-gun - Richard Talley CEO America Title
18 Feb - dead, jumped from roof JPM's Asia HG - FNU Li Forex trader
Loose ends being 'taken care of' to stymie an investigation and avoid any 'whistle blowing' or 'rolling-over' to provide evidence for a reduced sentence?
- Or merely foreknowledge of a bigger problem ahead than the one faced in 1929?

Obama Wants to Waste a Billion on "Climate Change"
![]() |
Dr. Craig D. Idso, PhD, is the founder and chairman of the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change. He is an advisor to The Heartland Institute and, with Dr. Robert M. Carter and Dr. S. Fred Singer, authored the 2011 study, “Climate Change Reconsidered”, for the entertainingly named NIPCC—Not the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Published by The Heartland Institute, a free market think tank that has led the effort to expose the IPCC since 2009, sponsoring eight international conferences, the report was updated in 2013 and a new update is due in March.

The BAFTA's
London, England Coming soon to US television are the Oscar's, but first here's my take on the host of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards which took place in London on Sunday... About half-way through the BAFTA’s last night, Steve Coogan paid homage to the host Stephen Fry, who, he said, “turns the job of an MC into an art form”. This is a sentiment with which I concur wholeheartedly. Stephen Fry gave us a masterclass in running a high profile event and let’s face it, there isn’t anything bigger in the UK film industry. Fry was funny, self-deprecating, humble and gracious. His humour hit a high note when he described one of the female co-presenters as “so Swedish , that she arrived in a flat-pack” and continued when he describing Leonardo Di Caprio as having lupine characteristics, a reference to the American star’s leading role in the Wolf of Wall Street. Doing the rounds on social media is the term “grammar Police”. This refers sarcastically to those who express disapproval of the incorrect usage of conjunctions and words such as “literally”. An American or two, overstepping the mark, incurred his wrath and the audience was suitably amused. Fry’s use of language is unsurpassed. His magnificent outburst about disrobing and stepping in to a bath of asses milk like Cleopatra in Carry On Cleo, was anachronistic on three levels – by epoch, gender and physique and his introduction of a female co-presenter as utterly xxxx, utterly yyyy and utterly zzzz is a case of anaphora. Topping both of these was his opening description of himself as “humbled, honoured and in the best sense of the word, paid” a perfect use of that well-known figure of speech, a paraprosdokian. JJ

Meet Missy.......................from Rico
Meet "Missy"...she is a hoarder.
I could not help but laugh when I saw this, for you see...Louie-the-dog is a hoarder too.
- He has bones-chews-toys stashed all over the place. Everywhere except in his toy baskets that I keep for him in the living room, the den, the porch...yes, he is spoiled for choice.
Unlike Missy's 'Mom' I tend NOT to move the furniture, so he can keep hiding his precious stuff and 'saving' it for later...at least until he runs out of room for it under the sofa, futon, cabinets, etc.
What can I say? Louie is a rescue dog, and he often reminds me that when he was a pup on the run he only had one toy...and that was a stick.
