As I get older, my damn eye sight is not all that good anymore. Can you guys please help me with this? Is that or is that not a graphite shaft?

If you want to see more of that shaft, check google images for Natalie Gulbis. She has a calender...and swim suit photos. You'll have to look closely, the shaft will appear after a few seconds of staring, uh, looking....
Graphite? at this point it could cut diamonds.......
