A giant floating drydock, I believe that is the USS Cole after the terrorist attack on it.

Its the Samuel B Roberts on the back of the Mighty Servant 2.
We had cause to use the Mighty Servant in 1988 when she piggy-backed the Southampton home following her collision with the MV Torbay in the Persian Gulf. I was on the Jupiter at the time, and we had to cut short our trip to Mombassa, to take over some of her duties.

Is the sub on the left an Akula or an Alfa?

No, probably a Victor 1.

Cheers

I think it may be 1 of 4 subs, purchased by Canada from the mothballed British fleet, that had a fire on board during transit "to the colonies" a couple of years ago. Then again, maybe not.
